What is Real World Finance

RealWorld.fi is a marketplace and lending platform for luxury collectibles and commodities. Customers can profit from their collections by selling them online, and gaining royalties from future secondary sales or by using our collateralised lending platform to access liquidity. RealWorld offers storage through our reputable custodial partners with insurance and specialised logistics.

RealWorld mints a Digital Item for each item in our custody. Your Digital Item represents the ownership rights to the asset that it represents. The Digital Item record is linked to the storage record at the custodial hub.

Currently our clients can trade or execute loans using the following asset classes:

RealWorld's Digital Items open up a new revenue stream for luxury goods and commodity owners. Our Digital Items enforce automatic royalty payment to the original owner on each subsequent sale of the Digital Item.

This means that each time the Digital Item is sold, the original Digital Item seller will receive a royalty payment as part of that transaction. The royalties are paid as a percentage of the secondary purchase price, and opens up the possibility of limitless revenue streams for collector and dealers.

Additionally an item or a collection of items can be used as collateral for loans, opening up a liquidity stream to asset owners. Lenders can take the other side of this loan and earn attractive yield secured by the underlying collateral.
